This was a project for my Procedural Modeling and Animation class. Using Houdini, I attempted to create a musical instrument that would animate itself given a MIDI sequence. I thought that I could create something similar to the amazing Animusic animations. Because of the way the Houdini MIDI channel operator works, I had a very difficult time making the animation work correctly. I might decide to come back to this project once Houdini 9 is released and I have full python scripting support.
