Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4p7ZelNGkg
Algorithms:

Helps to solve yellow side: R U R' U R U2 R'

First algorithm to permute top layer:
R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2

Second algorithm for permuting top layer: L' U' R' U L' U2 R U' R' U2 R L2

Also, try this one for permuting the last layer (set up your cube the same as you would for the above algorithm) : R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F'

Yes, I know you now see 4 algorithms instead of 2, but you only need the first one and one of the other three (I gave you multiple ones so that you can pick and choose)

  • omfg ur all geeks. did any1 actually lern how to solve the shit after watching this vid?

  • @eyeballs97 Based on the comments I receive, I'd say 98% of the people who watch this video could solve their 2x2.

  • I got the 2x2 a few hours ago. Almost solved it because its very similar to the 3x3 and I almost finished but couldn't get the last part so this helped! :D I'm probably returning it because the V Cube, while very loose and fast, gets jammed and breaks easy.

  • @DGregster Wait, you mean a V-cube 2x2x2 breaks easily? I consider it one of the highest quality 2x2's out there, do you mean a Rubik's brand 2x2?

  • @Mindstormscreator moving the cube too fast without controlling your fingers can make the cube jam when twisting one face while another isn't all the way in place

it happened to me once and the cube came apart :(

  • @asianguy49 That's probably because you have a Rubik's Ice Cube, those things are very prone to such primitive popping conditions.

  • perfect. thanks. if ure not completely retarded, these 2 algorithm works fine.

  • Thanks soo much! most of the other 'How to solve 2x2" were either hard to understand or they did it to fast, and the websites that tell the algorithms were impossible to figure out. I finally got my 2x2 time under 14 seconds thanks to your different algorithms. Thanks again :)

  • helped so much :)

  • This is sooo much easier than the other videos! You are very good at explaining! I will recommend! cheers

  • thanks a lot this really helps. i could do the 3x3 rubiks cube but still unable to solve the 2x2 until i saw this.

  • Dude thanks soooooooooooo much I can now solve pretty easily. definitely a sub :)

  • @Mindstormscreator i'm one of them thanks :)

  • what algorithm for the last layer is faster

  • @eyeballs97 stfu, this helped me so much, ive been watching vds for ages and this is the only vid which is simple and helpful:)

  • 6:43 and then the 2nd one looks like this: shuv. shuv. shuv. shuv. shuv. shuv! And thats how its done!
