  • @Lonsoleil Ooooo! Did I get your knickers in a twist? :) How's about that Great "American" icon, Bob Hope? Bill Hicks and George Carlin (correctly spelled) were two of the greatest satirists ever. My original comment was made because so many Americans thought this to be real & not a spoof. Bye bye.

  • @Snagglepussify

Oops, Charlie Chaplin wasn't American. My bad. Well, there's ONE for you.

  • @Snagglepussify

(cont'd) . . . Bernie Mac, Andy Kaufman, Bill Maher, Paul Mooney, Jim Carrey, Betty White, Chris Tucker, Jerry Seinfeld, Soupy Sales, Charlie Chaplin, Wanda Sykes, Phyllis Diller, George Burns, Steve Harvey, Gilbert Gottfried, and Steve Martin, just to name a very small few. Oh, oh there's just sooooooo many. My wrists are getting tired!!

    Yeah, I worked it out, didn't I?

And don't forget how popular American shows like Family Guy and South Park are in your part of the world.

  • @Snagglepussify

1st of all, I've been to all 50 American states, not that it has to do with anything.

Secondly, your argument is weak. You're right, Bill Hicks and George Carlin (u spelled his name wrong) AREN'T funny. You used bad examples on purpose!

Well, here's some FUNNY American talent for you:

Bill Murray, Dave Chappelle, Chris Farley, Howard Stern, Lucille Ball, Seth McFarlane, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Richard Pryor, Phil Hartman, Drew Carey, Rodney Dangerfield, Redd Foxx . . .

  • @Lonsoleil I take it that you are young & lack wisdom (your choice of words suggest so). You probably do not posses a passport & most likely have traveled little beyond your own state. American satire, barring Bill Hicks & George Carling sucks! BTW, those two were adored in the UK far more than in the US. Why? You work it out.

  • @Lonsoleil I suppose that's also why so many British comedy programmes have American remakes.

  • How could anyone not realize that this is a very funny contemporary satire. Who on Earth would actually think that this video was made in the 1920's?

  • @Snagglepussify

Up yours, buddy. We Americans INVENTED satire! That's why so many of you Europeans (or wherever the fuck you're from) watch our shows!!

  • It's rather sad to have to explain this to Americans but there's this thing called satire...

  • @wildhias it was mADE IN 1990
