Tango en Skai

This is a contemporary tango from French composer Roland Dyens. I had the privilege of playing to him at a masterclass last year. His warm and humorous character is reflected in this piece :)

I trimmed my nails too short yesterday so I should have waited a few days before recording but I wanted to do it today. I hope it is enjoyable.

Many thanks to my friend Vedat who lets me play his guitar. I think I will use it for my next recordings too :)

A little comment:

After making this video realized that dynamics must be exaggerated (especially when playing piano or pianissimo) when making a recording, as opposed to when playing at a concert. My dynamics are barely noticeable in this video because I played quite loud in general - as if I was playing at a concert. It doesn't help that my camera isn't sound sensitive either.
