@gordonstillhere Very remote possibility - but, yes, still a possibility. Most of the risk is to large power transmission systems ("the grid") and satellites. The cell phone in your pocket, the bank's data ... there's very little chance of volatility there. If the Sun gets that nasty, we'll have much bigger problems than our electronic architecture.
