How's the screen quality of the MacBook Aluminum contrast and color wise? I heard the MacBook pro has a better screen but is the difference really significant? Do you think the MacBook Aluminum (non-pro) good enough for some photo editing like in iPhoto or Picasa? Thanks.

I have this Macbook and would like to correct one thing: the keyboard is definitely not backlit. That, and the lack of a firewire port, and a regular monitor port make me wish I had gotten the MBP instead. Good review otherwise, thanks for posting, Jon4Lakers!

even though i have never owned a mac a day in my life, i can tell you that macs will always be superior to PCs no matter how long the battle rages one. apple has been tinkering with their software and has made a bigger footprint that Microsoft as far as the computing world goes to this day. sure Microsoft has made it's contributions too, but mac has been making more leaps in their software and computers in the past ten years than Microsoft has in the past four decades.

LOL Holy crap, I cant help but to say I agree with you on that!!! I'd still prefer Windows XP over any other Windows, and Mac is just a great OS I use it too, from Mac 9.2 to Mac OS X Leopard, its all great.
