See a lawyer for a free half hour consultation for good advice. Then buy some bankruptcy software for about $50 and file yourself. Create a notebook for all the forms with index tabs. Quit using your credit cards six months prior to filing, otherwise your creditors can claim bankruptcy fraud if you have substantial credit card debt 180 days prior to filing. If you haven't filed a tax return for the last two years, get a written statement from a tax professional saying you dont' need to file.

How in the hell can you retain a lawyer to file a bankruptcy if you have absolutely no money and no income? Even if you get the filing fees waived you have to get the paperwork typed up for some cost. So, you can't be broke and file bankruptcy. What a crappy system we have.
