A Broken Down Bus Chapter 3

I am now, changing the character names. Sammy will now be Katie who is missdramaqueenprince. I will be adding more characters as the story progresses. Ok. Chapter 3.

Nick and Katie heard a surprised yelp from the back of the bus, so they got up to investigate. They walked to the back, and saw Joe standing in front of the bedroom with his hand over his heart.
Joe: Who are you???
Nick and Katie looked inside and saw that John was lying down in a bunk reading his WWE magazine.
John: I'm HER brother.
Joe: oh. well, thats ok. i-
John: And I'M leaving.
He got up and left the room.
Kevin: What's his problem?
Katie: Sorry. He doesn't like you guys... he thinks your music sucks.
Nick: Well, not everybody likes us. We're used to it.
Joe: I thought it was that creepy guy who's following us around all the time.
Nick: ooo.... that would have been freaky.
Kevin: oh ya.... anyway, nick, me and Joe are gonna go back to that gas station. There's TV in there.
Nick: isn't there TV here?
Kevin: Ya, but the electricity is gone.... anyway, you coming?
Nick looked at Katie.
Katie: ummm.... well.. i- i probably have to stay here with my mom. sorry.
Nick: i'll stay.
Katie: no no!! you go ahead! i'll stay here and read.
Joe: we'll be at the station, Nick.
They left the bus.
Katie: Really, you should go. I can imagine how bored you are.
Nick: no! I'm not bored! I was before we got talking..
They looked at eachother for a moment, and then looked away again, both blushing.
Katie: So- so do you want to sit down again?
Nick: Ya. I'd like that.
They both sat down again, and got into a huge converstaion. They talked for an hour, and by the time they were hoarse from talking, Joe and Kevin came back in.
Joe: Ugh...
Kevin: man....
Nick: what's wrong?
Joe: The lady working there said we had to buy something and get out of there.
Kevin: And the NEWS was starting!!
Joe: Who cares about the news? on the TV I was watching, the cartoon marathon was just starting.
Kevin: oh, Joe... it's just like you to think cartoons are more important than the worl around you.
Joe: well it's just like you to think the world around you is more important than cartoons!
Kevin: oh ya?
Joe: ya!
They walked off to the back, still arguing.
Katie: Are they ALWAYS fighting?
Nick: ALWAYS!!
Katie giggled and Nick smiled at her.
Katie: what?
Nick: (still smiling) nothing.
Katie: you have spinach in your teeth..
Nick: WHAT???
He turned away and started picking at his teeth. Katie was laughing like crazy.
Katie: I'm KIDDING!!! Hahahaha!!
Nick turned around, looking embaressed.
Katie: why would you care anyway?
Nick: ummm.... i- i- i like looking good... everyday... it's not because... you know... i'm trying to.... impress...ummm.... never mind.
He turned away again, blushing.
Katie started feeling nervous. Did he like her? Or was he just someone who cared about their looks WAY too much?
Nick: uhh..
Katie: umm... so-
Denise: IT'S HOPELESS!!!
She had come back into the bus.
Nick:What's wrong, Mom?
Denise: I'm sorry, Nick... but we're gonna have to miss the beginning of the tour. We only have one bus, and Ms. Karlson says that the bus will not be fixed until the end of next week... we'll have to miss the first concert.
Nick: oh man.... the fans are gonna be crushed.
Katie: I'm so sorry...
Nick: nah... it's alright..
Katie: My mom will work on the bus all week! Right Denise?
Denise: That's what she wants to do. I said she didn't have to but-
Katie: She will!!
Denise: (smiling) well, i better go back out and help... continue what you were doing before i came in.
Nick: you mean babbling like idiots?
They both laughed, getting into a huge coversation again.

How was that? It may have been a bit boring, but it's building up ok? Next chapter or the one after, new people are coming!! So, does Nick like Katie? Will the bus get fixed? WILL JOE GET TO WATCH HIS CARTOON MARATHON???? Read the next chapter to find out!!
