The ONLY thing evil in this Universe is the hearts of men who desire to assert supremacy/hierarchy and control others.
That exemplifies RELIGION to a tee.
That is why the first thing empires sent into foreign lands were missionaries who sought out to destroy their old pagan/nature understandings. This was to open/soften the psyches of the targets for the subsequent indoctrination.

@civilwar14 Not true, Pointing down or Up doesn't make the 5 pointed star a wiccan or satan symbol, Wiccans use the 5 pointed star in both forms, the point down star is used for banishing rituals, hexing, protection, dispersing negative energy, and the point up is used in Sabbat rituals, bringing in positive energy, healing, things like that.
there is only ONE thing that is a devil symbol, and that is the mark of the beast, 666. The pentagram has nothing to do with the devil.
