My Ranger finally making some numbers on the chassis dyno. We got to 204 at the wheel, but we started to blow the spark out a 18 psi. We shall fix that problem and then more boost. Not too bad for an engine that made 100 at the flywheel stock. Megasquirt fuel injection, forged rods and pistons. Stock 96' block and crankshaft, stock bore, stock head, stock intake, stainless header & downpipe, T3-T04 Turbo. 8.8 rear end W/ 3.73 LS, lowered 5" inches. Let me know what ya think. We will get more videos as we get further in the testing / tuning.

  • Where did you get your parts for the motor from

  • @BrianDisbennet I actually used the stock rods and pistons from a turbo coupe. The rod journals on the ranger crank are the same as the tc. The main journals in the ranger are quite a bit smaller though. The cylinder head was stock with a 5 angle valve job. I used the stock cam and valve springs also. Obviously I could have made a lot more power with a different cylinder head, but hell, I did this just to do it.

  • well wat year is your ranger and can you like tell me some of the parts it has and wat have you done to it?.i have my 93 ford ranger half cab and i am working on it but still looking 4 the write turbo and engine.
