  • By popularish demand, Ive posted a copy of the music (see info box). I dont remember the precise licensing terms, but its definitely something that can be used in a CC by-nc-sa video, so personal use is OK.

  • Whats the music?

  • In anticipation of that question, the answer is conveniently given in the info box to the left of the video.

  • Or, as the case may be, the right.

  • The one shown here is marginally better looking, while everything outside looks much much better.

Unless the dashbopard is meant to be a one of those of holo-graphic variety that are meant to have the that vector graphic look about then I'm okay with that. If it meant to be a vary solid and real looking dashboard, then I would seriuosly think about starting to design one or atleast add the the same type of colours and textures to the one there is now.

  • vidstarr, Oolite is a reasonably faithful recreation of Elite, a game from the eighties. The station is a third-party add-on, the HUD (and everything else) is stock. Other HUDs are also available as add-ons.

The video was posted primarily for users without shader support to see what the fuss was about. :-)

  • music sounds like it's from the SID chip from a commodore 64.

  • @TOTAhruman now at the bottom. Give it a couple of years and it's now behind the video, or floating around outside of the screen.

  • When the music kicked in, I couldn't help but grin : )

  • Love the colorful ads; very Blade Runner esque

  • Bloody hell... DracoCaeles here (the nutter who made the genships, way back when)... that looks incredible. Unbelievable... jawdroppingly good...

Since when did Oolite have shaders? and a decent poly limit?...

... Gods... if only I had the time... :(

Kudos to you guys, though... seriously. That is incredible. *applauds*

  • Love the music!!! Oh memories!!!!!!!

  • Nice music!
