Video I finally edited to clear my SD card to make more bird videos. I like the closeness I get with this setup. All I need is a remote-controlled video camera to start and stop video and to pan and zoom, so we'll have to see about that and if I can find one at a good deal. I'm getting really into my new bird hobby and having a lot of fun figuring out new methods to get better video of the birds I feed and to get different and creative food and feeders that are inexpensive. -Ev

  • really good vid , i just recently got a bird feeder and it really is very relaxing watching them dine :)

  • @BREN70S Binoculars really enhance the experience, for me. I made this video when I just started out, too. Going on nearly two years on my birdwatching hobby and obsession. It started out just by seeing blue jays swooping down and stealing cat food from a bowl on my porch and seeing a cardinal perched on an empty "decorative" feeder in my yard, and thought, "I wanna put some food in there," and it spiraled into an everyday thing that continues to this day.

  • great video better than watching tv. how you attach the birdcam?

  • @Ferddie2009 I just used velcro. I want a wireless camera.

  • Do mourning doves sometimes come out in winter Febuary?

  • @sharonvinco Yes, all year. I've had a lot that roost and perch in a tree in the day near my feeder all winter. Not my favorite bird, though. They all come down at one time and hog the feeders, scare smaller birds away, poop in the feeders a lot. I've been trying to get rid of them but it's not working.

  • @p2proxtheworld morning doves hate feeders they have to perch on, the big wide platform is perfect for them to land on. Scatter some seed on the ground and they'll usually go for that first and give the smaller birds more time to eat.

  • Very cool! Love how the feeder is swaying almost like it was on the sea or something.

  • @MiZzDeeRoCkZ Highest camera goes is 640x480. You'd have to encode into a higher resolution to be HD on YouTube. I encoded all of my bird videos in, uh, 1280x960 to get the HD in YouTube but looks slightly stretched. From now on I'll just encode in the default 640 or something higher that matches the same aspect ratio.

  • i have the same camera but i have a hard time making them hd when i make videos. help?
