Leading up to two major scheduled fireworks events downtown, many people all across the area are having shows of their own. Off to the right, people setting off firecrackers near the stoplight received a visit from the police (before the video). Video taken at Sparrow Hospital.

I don't really get the law in Michigan about fireworks, you can buy them, but you can't light them (everyone ignores the law, though).
