@3eyedho It's not that his voice is bad or anything now, he just somehow managed to do the unthinkable and make his voice lower than what is humanly possible...
He can't hit the high notes anymore, but they make up for it by tuning everything down more, getting an even heavier sound than before.

I live near a Grove street. I think of this song every time I see that street sign. I love King's X.

@hyperdog67 It's true now hes using an ampeg svt 4 pro for his clean sound and a marshall guitar head for distortion and both heads are runnig at the same time. But the swirling sound back in the 90s was just Fret buzz through a distortioned old traynor amp wich he used before he switched to Marshall.

DUg swears it's just a bass amp split with a guitar amp.I just got this from him recently. Thats what he says and I find that hard to swallow...but cause I love his sound...i have no choice but to believe..

@hyperdog67 The swirling sound could be a phaser, a chorus, or a univibe. To me it sounds like a wah pedal set at just less than 3/4 of the whole sweep.

@hyperdog67 oops subtle*

@hyperdog67 suttle electronic stepper delay? maybe? or some other thing like that?... im a guitarist not bassist lol :/

The bass sound! The guitar sound! Jerry beating his drumkin to pieces! This band is such a killer. Wish they were greater commercially so that these guys had all the success they really deserve!
