  • I have found a killdeer baby, it has some feathers but it was injurd. The bird sancuary didn't call me back, could you please give me some advice I just found it last night. I took it in cause it was getting dark and I didn't want it to get eatin here in FL

  • @bevinallison Just catch some mosquitoes or any other tiny bugs like that and feed them to it with a tweezer, put the bug in the beak and in the back of it's tounge. Give it water with either an sringe or eye dropper.

  • @MrHeffalump4 My friend kept it as a pet. Its alive and well.

  • @bigsidfan why did she keep it as a pet?

  • @khk0510 Because she was scared to put it back because we didn't know where the mother is/was

  • Actually, that's not true whatsoever. It's been proven that parent's DO NOT abandon there babies, even after human presence is sensed(or smelled).

  • It's cute :) I like it when they're adults and they have their long legs. They're like the sandpipers on the beach.

  • i've done this :3 its is SO silky. I just ran around with it in my back yard, petted it, then went back to the gate and let it free. I know watch it from the windows (it stays close to its parents who live right next to my house) and its always walking in the nasty water because the pavement is super hot. killdeer FTW!

  • @MrHeffalump4 thats not true, the birds cant smell human scents. To your research. That is false that birds will kill the babies if a human handles it! you sound really dumb.. LOL dork

  • @MrHeffalump4 you should really read more. put your brain in gear before you put your mouth in motion
