The Family of Lawrence Taylor v. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. On Tuesday, August 1, 2006, Lawrence Taylor died of multiple gunshot wounds inflicted by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies. Mr. Taylor was unarmed and being pursued for suspicion of DUI. Deputies fired seven rounds of ammunition at Mr. Taylor, of which four hit him. The fatal shot struck Mr. Taylor in the back. His family alleges that deputies violated standard operating procedure by shooting at Mr. Taylor, since he did not threaten the lives of officers attempting to stop his car.

fucking lawyers defending criminals... ridiculous... even if the deputy did unlawfully shoot at the suspect he is still defending a dirt bag that runs from the cops and puts other lives in danger. His reckless driving obviously shows that he is a threat to other people especially driving in a small street like that where children play and run into the streets, and the department policy states that if the deputy's life or any other persons life is in danger you can fire your weapon.
