yeah. the reason toads eyes push down as they swollow their food is because when there eyes push down in it helps push the food down into the stomach of the toad.

I don't think you can buy toads from stores, not your typical toads anyway. The toad featured here was caught from a local pond.
How was it tamed? Fred wasn't tamed. I had two of these toads at the same time in an aquarium set up. During feeding times I take one toad put, lay them on sheets of paper (to help stay clean) and then I fed them meal worms.
Toads love mealworms so they didn't need taming :P They were totally for the taping of this video!
