when it's the ten commandments in a court house, they defend it with the constitution...when someone pokes fun at their fairy tales in some random library, they defend it with the constitution...just like they manage to cherry pick the bible so it works like a horoscope.

Actually, I disagree. I would say that ALL people are born atheists. It is only after the constant barrage of nonsensical claims dredged up from Bronze Age books of conjecture upon young impressionable minds to warp their development that these religious beliefs are formed.

Of course, you're right that most adult atheists are formerly religious, but then, that just shows you that atheists are the ones whose brains actually keep on learning. ;)

  • A painting critized him therefore he's a second class citizen? Oh my god I hope he's okay! That poor man!

  • @koorgen i think you need to read the ten commandments and realize that many of them have no bearing to a non-religious person (no gods before me, keep the sabbath, etc). the 3 that are law (murder, stealing, bearing false witness) are fine, but it isn't the 3 commandments, there are 7 that this country can do without...so why do we need all 10 in a courtroom where the bible supposedly holds no weight?

  • I agree, this guy who's offended by the drawing needs to be informed that propaganda is not necessarily illegal. Until after we've been overthrown.

  • @keithpetro weak atheism. lack of belive in a gods. Babys dont even have the brain to imagine such things so they definetly lack belive. they are atheists.

  • A true test to prove one's belief in a republic is to see if one cries for freedom and liberty and upholds his/her belief system as the guiding beacon of their country at the same time. If does such thing, they are unfit to call themselves "believers in freedom."

It matters not if you believe in Kali, God/Yahweh/Allah, Thor, or nothing. To allow any belief system to have domain over a republic erodes it in the end. To deny the atheists' rights to express themselves is anti-republican.

  • LOL, it's actually funny to watch religious fundies accuse others of being intolerant to their right to express their intolerance. Fucking idiotic bigots. XD

  • @amaqula Oh hell no. A Catholic State would be bad!
