  • This video is awesome. I am from the Mohawk nation and I would like to learn to speak it fully.

  • Niá:wen,thank you,its a first step of a long journey,but there are more videos available every day.Search Mohawk Language on you yube to see more.I also have one called Mohawk Orthography 1,2,3, that is a must for a beginner,to learn to read and write in Mohawk.

  • the words are said twice, with a slightly different pronounciation, is it to present two different accents?

  • @floremorand ,the first time the word is broken into syllables,the second time it is pronunced the the way you would here it in normal conversation.
