i really enjoying this video i recently found i and Mohawk and Algonquin i was adopted and looking at learning the language.. can u tell me how to pronounce grandmother in Mohowk , and is this the correct spelling and tta, and dudah? thanks for this awesome video, hope u can put more up for me to learn a fan May

Niá:wen,thank you,its a first step of a long journey,but there are more videos available every day.Search Mohawk Language on you yube to see more.I also have one called Mohawk Orthography 1,2,3, that is a must for a beginner,to learn to read and write in Mohawk.

the words are said twice, with a slightly different pronounciation, is it to present two different accents?

@floremorand ,the first time the word is broken into syllables,the second time it is pronunced the the way you would here it in normal conversation.
