I watch this video many times and still do not understand why the Canucks thought this was a dirty hit. This was totally clean, he didn't elbow him. Looks like Naslund put himself in that position to begin with. Instead the Canucks make a big deal out of nothing. They end Moores career and end up paying a huge fine for all the shit. Hollweg got a stick across his shoulders not directly across his face and even if he did he probably wouldn't suffer fractured neck vertabrae... @duffy31311 Both plays were bad. Correct. Now, if it needed a reaction so badly then someone should have come over to Moore immediately not wait for later in the game. So much hate went to the Bruins for this exact same thing when Cooke hit Savard. No one confronted Cooke immediately and thus had a lot of fans pissed. I was one. If a reaction was needed then it should have been done then and there not later in the game when Bertuzzi finally hit the ice.

how can you defend moore? he sucker hit naslund and ended his career.

in hockey, you dont get to decide to not fight if you sucker hit a star. period. learn the game first. code dictates that you must fight the enforcer, bertuzzi in this case. not skate away like a typical avalanche pussy.

naslund got sucker hit bad.  someone had to pay for that.
