I would have totally agreed with you some month ago, but I heard really good geologists say that this theory is true. It's not just something people believe!

a dumb ass theory its not even a theory in science theories are ideas that can be used to make predictions for scientific facts not theory how the general public has it like its a good idea the continents fitting into each other more supports continental dirift. I don't know if it has anything to do with that, but there is recent theory which is accepted as "really possible" by archaeologists.

The theory is that the earth is growing and not drifting... Don't remember the technical proof but some indirect proof would be

1. if you try to do a puzzle with all the continents, it perfectly fits.

2. Dinosaurs skeletons were to big for the actual earth gravity.

3.Simple plate tectonics isn't strong enough to push the big mountains...
