Little did they know that nearly 30 years later that Meteorology would become a total joke. The weathermen these days are beyond clueless what the weather will be even four hours in advance. The weather forecasts of the last three years have been totally wrong hundreds of times.

must have been nice to have a VCR back then, i would have been recording stuff all day, mostly baseball,football and MTV ,lol
The first night was May 2nd, not the 3rd. But still very cool.

It's something that the Weather Channel has NEVER changed it's logo.

A slight change a few years ago, they went from a TV shaped logo to a square logo.
