Well, in my opinion, unlocking OP-I itself is already a very big trial that test our skills as a raven. In AC3, we need to do various missions in order to unlock its functions, which already become some challenge. In AC3:SL, it's even harder. Without data transfer, you need to get a 100% completion. So, with or without OP-I, long we have skills, we can still have fun with this game. Give yourself a little challenge by beat Mobius using LW frame, equipped only with rifle and blade.

Of all the time I have watched this video, I always thought, why Military District?
Probably, although very frightening, this player taught the AI to do this.
-
@RaynethxOllie Actually, the parts are of the most energy efficient. In addition, OP-I doubles the energy regen rate, coupled with the ROZ, the player can OB and boost all he/she wants and have most of the energy used regenerate before the AC hits the ground.
-
Even If I got Infinite energy, I can't hit a mech this good,
-
this guy sure likes to waste his energy and boost alot " SIGHS" he's got a high E Drain
-
because this dude isnt flying around at blinding pace with the ultimate back cannon mounted on his mech. right? Your argument makes total sense. You might not be a dedicated tank pilot, but believe me when I say a lot of us are irked by stuff like that. Doesnt stop us from winning all the time though >=)

In your comment you said how it's not fair for a light weight biped to pack as much firepower as a HW.That would ONLY be possible if the LW went OW.
Try using big ass back weapons (or any heavy weapons for that matter) on a LW without the OW ability and see how far you get :P In most AC games your not even allowed to start. In AC3 onwards you could go overweight but have a huge loss in mobility.
And unlike in every AC before 3, there is no OW ability to be unlocked, regardless of OP-I/HP.
-
no. I'm referring to the ability to use back weapons. Not that at this point it really matters. The LX is the great equalizer after all.
As for OW. All of my heavy weights are now OW in the current AC's just so they can out muscle their faster competition as it is. I like being able to OW.

You are describing overweight ACs. That is a totally different thing from OP-I/ Human Plus. You would get the ability to go overweight after beating the game/every mission. That was discontinued after AC2AA.
As someone who has been playing AC since the series inception in 1996, I can say that there is NOTHING wrong with using Human Plus upgrades or OP-I.
Don't listen to those make believe elitist fags who say its cheating.
It's a fucking game and it's supposed to be fun.
Human Plus/OP-I makes the game more fun and enjoyable, period.

OP-I is cheating? Nikka, EVERY GODDAMN RAVEN IN THE SERIES USES IT (Except for Wildcat because he fails).
So eat a dick, elitists. Don't say I'm not an AC player- Last Raven was my first AC game, and that son of a bitch is the hardest in the series. If I can play that abomination and enjoy it enough to hunt down and play every other title in the series, I should probably know what I'm talking about.
To be fair, though, the guy in this video is haxxing like crazy. That's just not fair.
