Fairmont RV Park, located between two historic cities - Anaconda and Butte, MT, is an easy off/on I-90 (Exit 211). Much of the lure of this part of the country is the Spirit of the American West. The Anaconda/Philipsburg area, the core of the Pintler Scenic Route, is blessed with year 'round recreation opportunities, scenic splendor, and plenty of history. Philipsburg, only 30 miles from Fairmont RV Park, was founded in 1886 as a trading center. It has a beautifully restored street front, and the Sweet Palace is "a must" -- it's an unbelievably huge Victorian Confectionary. Fishing in Montana's big rivers is an angler's dream; Rockhouds search for sapphires, garnets, crystals, quartz & amethyst. Mining history means untold numbers of Ghost towns.
Anaconda, known for smelting copper for more than a century, is today a small town of friendly folks. Historical homes built in the 1880's still stand tall with architectural beauty that is sure to bring the cameras out of the cases. The huge brick smokestack, constructed in 1918, stands on a small hill & looms a total of 1,000 ft. above Anaconda. Today the site of that smelter is the location of the nationally known18-hole Old Works Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Old # l Trolley stops at the Butte Visitor's Center for daily tours of historical Butte.

Fairmont RV Park is a great central location to hang your hat while sightseeing the area. There's so much to see and do that more than one night is needed before moving on. The RV Park & Campground has all the amenities to keep everyone happy. There are cabins, tenting & RV sites -- all located on 15 acres. Want to really go western? Reserve one of their popular Indian Teepees. There's a 1500 Sq. Ft. Recreation Hall with lots of games, pool table, internet, and the cushy couch awaits you. Group facilities include outdoor canopies and seating. A Country Store and fuel is also available for your convenience. Just next door is Fairmont Hot Springs Resort for water fun and basking in the sun of "Big Sky Country" - Montana. What are you waiting for?
