That's why you failed. Because you pressed X instead of Circle.

  • that torture part made you realy immerse yourself into the game. It brought in the idea of "no continues" so you could truely experiance pain and torture for that segment of the game. And it WOULD have consiquences, rather than being some stupid little mini game. A steping stone in gameing not seen very much in even today's gaming world...

  • Oh God What have I done. When Revolver said he was gonna have some fun with her before she was killed I was instantly filled with Rage for Ocelot, Sorrow for Meryl and then I realised that the game had made me feel something for the characters and it became more than a game, I actually felt in some kind of way Snakes sorrow and grief for Meryl, What a fucking game man!

  • @Yodio12 yeah thats pretty true dude

  • I was too young to know what the word "submit" meant.... /sigh

  • @MsCallofdutygod It depends on your actions as Snake in MGS1, you have the power to let her live or die, MGS4 + 2 go by the story that she lives, I guess because most players have her live.

  • meryl dead? she is alive in MGS4 how she can get killed in MGS1

  • @patriarched Otacon -.-

  • @DoctorCapitalist

WHAT DO YOU KNOW? Meryl's dead! I lost.

  • @patriarched I guess blaming yourself makes it easier, huh

If you do that you can keep the pain at a nice safe distance.

  • @DoctorCapitalist

    Octacon...

    She's gone snake.

    Because of me.

  • Wolves are noble animals, they're not like dogs. In Yupik, the word for "wolf" is kegluneq, and the Aleuts revere them as honorable cousins. They call mercenaries like us "dogs of war". It's true; we're all for sale at one price or other. But you're different. You're untamed. Solitary. You're no dog. You're a wolf.
