Portsalon Golf Links was established in 1891 and is one of the founder members of the Golfing Union of Ireland, the oldest golfing union in the world.

Originally designed in the 1880's by Portrush Professional Charles Thompson.
Redesigned in 2000 by the renowned Pat Ruddy.
