Firebug is a Firefox web design add-on that makes it easy to find and fix mistakes in your CSS code. Firebug even lets you see what your changes would look like immediately, without changing your site. This video also has good links to browser display-checking sites.

  • Very useful tips, and you answered my internal question, because I was trying to find out whether editing the css/html in firebug actually edits the files on the server, and you mentioned that it doesn't, so thanks!
