Goodbye Charlie, my best friend, my horse

This a tribute to my handsome, dead but not forgotten, chestnut horse called Charlie. Charlie was a warmblood horse, 17 hands and was a great horse.He may not have been the best jumper, the fastest horse. He may not have been worth loads of money, but he was completly worth the world to me. He was my best friend, so rest in peace my prince charming. I will remember you forever until I die, you may be gone, but the memories will never fade.

i couldn't do it.i wouldn't let anyone near my horse if i thought they might hurt him. If he fell today and broke every bone in his body i would never let go. I wouldn't accept that he needed to be put out of his pain, never. If he only had 1 week to live i wouldn't leave his side even after he died i couldn't leave him...When my dog was put down then night before he woke me up crying and i pushed him away because i couldn't stand to look at him and even 1 year later it still haunts me

@1233Maya I know I miss him so so so much, i just have to accept the fact hes gone, and he aint coming back :( still makes me cry from time to time, he was improving so much, just one little stumble and his life was over! im actually crying now just writing this message

rip to your dog i hate it when animals die, its not fair, the only deaths that are fair is when they have had a great full life and they die of age...

but I feel a bit better now because I know it was for the best, and Im hopefully getting a new horse so I can improve my riding more so things are looking up :) x

great Video. I saddly had to have my Rosa pass 16 yrs ago. I still cry over her. You have made a wonderful tribute. We had a terrible day 2 wks ago. My 12 yr old neice had to make the decision to have her 33 yr old pony put to sleep.No matter how much you want to keep them you have to put the animal first. They are too regal and loyal to be left to suffer. I am sure Charlie will wait for you at the rainbow bridge and you will get to ride again when it is your time,I know Rosa is waitingfor me :)

I watched this with my best friend and we both cried! we both have horses (mine is also called Charlie) and love them so much. I would hate to have to let go :'( <3

I lost my horse to a broken leg too...It killed me to make the chose to have her put down :( I am truely sorry about your horse!!

@mayandcortney1 you can fix a horses broken but it is EXTREAMLY expencive and even if you have the money it doesn't always mean there gana walk again...

That made me cry alot since i have a horse and hes my best friend maby more :) I hope your doin ok know how hard it is to loose a horse who is ur best friend.... and i know hes grading over you :)
