My 5' x 18" layout which is abstractly based on Shiawassee County Michigan. Anachronisms exist in this video. Here are some pictures of the construction of the switching layout:

  • On the God Father Central RR

  • love story theme on a railroad video hmmm... :)

  • @RustBeltRailroad decent switching layout but your choice of music for a RR is very odd, have to mute it to watch lol!

  • I couldn't Even finish the video with that fuckin shit in my ears. Nice layout. I'm jelouse

  • should have played 'meshuggah' but i like the layout.i seen one something akin to that several years ago in mrm.

  • nice job

  • @RustBeltRailroad LOL. Great comment, Dude.

I think most of us see 5' x 18' (feet), rather than what you have actually typed. THAT would be a decent size for HO.

I think you are a fan of switching, like I am. I used to do those switching puzzles in the magazines back in the day.

Running trains is nice, but I would be happy making up and breaking down trains at the yard all session if I could.

  • Wow, really terrible choice of music... I mean, really, the theme from Love Story?

  • Good stuff man. from your Genesee county neighbor.

  • Nice work! I like the grain elevator! I like how in your 5ft you didn't try to cram a whole bunch of stuff to make it look like a toy train set. :~) Authentic looking track work and switch detail. You could easily take this piece (aka, as a module) and use it later as a freemo module or expand with a removal switch lead on the throat. Thanks!
