President Obamas Administration will have to cope with this issue in the coming years in office.

One of the largest issues has created a web of smaller issues namely the Health Care entanglement; involving such things as pharmaceuticals, and what the registration process curtails with the FDA. Also, the legalizing of various drugs, such as, Cannabis for medical usage under a doctor's care, which has been an issue dating back to the late seventies.

Prior to 1937 Cannabis was a legalized drug, which was ban from usage in this same year, causing a large number of doctors within the medical profession to protest its banning. The reason of their protest was Cannabis is known to cure or ease the pain of a number of illnesses of that time, which still exist today. Starting in 1996, California was the first state in our union of states, which allowed for individuals to grow Cannabis for medical usage; since then, there have been eleven other states that have allowed or planning to allow the usage of Cannabis for medical usage.

This number of states is likely to grow within the next administration, which may create conflict in the administration and congress. Personally, I'm not sure how President Obama, feels about this single issue of legalizing Cannabis, but I do believe in his plan to overall in his Health Care Plan.
