One of the hottest burning pyro compositions known. Used for decoy flares in aeroplanes.

Definitely one of my favorite compositions I've made. but so expensive.

in real professional flares they use magnesium/teflon/viton called MTV flare (: dont ask me where to get viton, i dont even know where to get teflon, where you got your teflon from? if youre interested in MTV flare i can find the ratios

I can get viton but its about $60 a gallon. So I just used 10 micron teflon powder.

hm... is there nothing that contains viton? and what contains teflon? im a psycho with that sandpaper xP im also trying to find some glasses that has titanium in xD haha but do you know if its possible to get/make viton and what is it used for and.. is it reactive with magnesium or something like that?

teflon and viton are fluoro-polymers i doubt anyone would be able to synthesize any of them unless they had very sophisticated equipment. the only place i found teflon powder was online chemical supply stores. Google "underground gadgets", they have a bunch of good stuff plus the owner is a great guy.

How fine was the magnesium? I see the Teflon is 10 micron, but I was wondering how fine the MG was.

Also, was this just loose powder? Or did it have some sort of binder? If so, what kind?

oh well... have you ever seen keten? search keten at google keten chemicals he has lots of great stuff :P unfortunately i cant buy online :(
