recap: joe asked courtney out but she said no.......

*with natalie - nat's pov*
i was pacing my room.....ok that was boring! so i headed downstairs and started jumping on the couch.....that was useless....i went into the kitchen and started making a milkshake and gulped it.......that killed 2 minutes......OMG! i cant take this torture!!!! i grabbed my jacket and my phone and headed out......what my dad doesnt see wont kill me......

*later with them at the park*
me: *walking through the bushes*
s: i still dont get why you had to drag us into this!
r: babe, i care abt you and everything but seriously, i think i just scratched my sensitive area.
kam: ah! i broke a nail.
s: girly girl.
kam: *sticks out tongue*
me: shut it you guys! i seriously needa find out what's going on and if i'm going down i'm taking all of you with me! *hears footsteps* ok hush! i think that's him......

we watched as my dad walked up to her and they just stared at each other for like 5 freaking minutes! havent i taught you anything dad?! OPEN YOUR MOUTH! NO! not to drool! to talk! TALK! SAY SOMETHING! gosh, finally he extended his hand....he started to talk but we couldnt hear a thing.....
r: am i going deaf?
kam: no, we're too far away.
me: let's go.
s: nat.....

i started crawling through the bushes closer to them and they followed me....finally i began to hear their voices.....
c: oh, no problem.....she really looked like she could use some help....
j: yea....she gets herself into some serious trouble sometimes....
ugh! excuse me?!
c: what can you expect? she's just a 13 year old girl.....
j: yea...............so anyway, i'd really like to pay you back....... *reaches for his wallet*
c: *smiles fades* oh...so you really meant pay me back......the money.....

OMG!!! WHAT?! no! dad, you were supposed to ask her out! not shut her out! what's wrong with him?! i was about to just jump out and knock some sense into him....but they stared talking again....

c: you know, i already told natalie....i dont want your money....so it was no problem and nice meeting you.....bye....*turns to walk*

thank god this girl had a brain! but no! she cant just go!!!! dad, freaking do something!!!!!! good! he stopped her.....ok, that's it....talk....slip it in....WHOA! he did it! he just asked her out! smooth dad! real smooth! i looked at my friends who were smiling at me....we wanted to just jump in joy but we needed to keep it down......

j: is something the matter?
c: *takes a breath* i'm sorry.....i cant.....
j: what?

WHAT?! IS SHE INSANE?! that's it! i lost it!!!! i jumped out and stood in front of my dad.....i cant believe her!

me: what in the world is wrong with you?! no?! my dad, *points* THE joe jonas just asked you out and you say no?! WHAT?!
c: urm.......actually, i was gonna say i cant, say yes with your daughter watching us......
j: natalie, you got some explaining to do.......
me: *nervous giggles* i think i'm gonna go.........NOW! *runs off* c'mon! c'mon! *grabs their hands and they 4 run off*
j: *sighs* so, what were you actually gonna say before you spotted my daughter?
c: i was gonna say............................
j: *hopeful*
c: *leans in closer to his ear* pick me up at 8. *stuffs a piece of paper in his hands, kisses his cheek and pulls away*
j: *amazed*
c: *giggles and winks at him before turning around and walking away*
j: *starts to smile and holds his cheek* *checks out the paper in his hand*
