The vaccination "controversy" as covered by The 7pm Project on the 27th of April 2010.

This is a manufactured controversy started by Wakefield and his ilk and continued by antivaxxers such as Jenny McCarthy and the AVN.

Vaccines are under the microscope, but they have been since they were first created. It is why they are so safe, much MUCH safer than not vaccinating.

For more information, please, find a GP you can trust and set aside some time to talk to them in depth. Do not rely on anti vaccination groups, they'll just fill you with misinformation and blatant lies that have been corrected for them countless times.

  • Do you have the 7pm project aired on 13th April 2010? the one that interviewing with Julia Gillard about NAPLAN tests. I need it for English Assignment and it is perfect.

  • @orangecockie No, I don't. I only capture/upload things which I intend to comment/blog on making its upload fair usage. The NAPLAN tests unfortunately are not an area of interest for me. Have you tried getting on contact with Channel 10 to see if there's a way they could provide you with a copy or transcript?

  • People shit me, one only has to look at the evidence, how many kids got Polio this year compared to the pre 1950's vaccinations? How many kids died from measles this year compared to pre-vaccination years? I honestly think that we will see otherwise preventable diseases come back because parents don't want to vaccinate their kids.

  • Dear media,

"Parent" is not a recognised qualification.

  • @Auricfield I believe they do, one of following the science and basing their opinions on facts and evidence rather than make believe. If non-orthodox healthcare lived up to the science and facts they'd support it. Simple as that.

  • @Auricfield They link to the sources in the article, directly after they use them. These sources are the institutions that record them. The references you've suggested have a clear anti-vaccination and anti-reality agenda failing your own tests. Make sense???

  • @Auricfield You'll notice sciencebasedmedicine also cite their sources clearly, unlike most antivax websites.
