I'm assuming it's because it was close at hand (I haven't seen the full documentary, so there could have been another reason). Sheep are herd animals and they're also quite docile and non-aggressive (the most they can really do is bunt you...).

Ok. She didn't insult religion, she made a false statement in an attempt to appear superior. She could have said "religion is stupid", which would have been fine, but instead she said "Not many people believe in God", which is absurd. You know nothing of my religious or philosophical persuasions, and appearing "stupid and naive" to strangers in the YouTube comment section doesn't concern me.

Of all the things that SHOULD be insulted, religion is one of the top things. You can keep being a sheep and mindless follower if you want to, but to claim that you're right because you think you have the popularity vote definitely makes you appear extremely stupid and naive.
