Tribute to LBC caller, Edwina from High Wycombe

In 2006, on LBC radio, there was a caller called Edwina from High Wycombe. She called Clive Bull and Iain Lee's shows and had a beautiful voice, as well as being very polite & thoughtful.
Such was her popularity that she was included in many features & mp3s on Iain Lee's show as well as on the amazing 'Party Time' by Shaun Whiteheart, which celebrated Iain Lee's birthday and included caricatures of most of his callers.

I remember that Edwina wasn't that well and had to go on dialysis but I was very shocked and saddened to find out that she passed away a few years after these clips were made & broadcast.

Thanks for including my offering to the lady, I always pictured Edwina as an enigmatic lady of refined elegance with a hypnotic sensual voice (hence depicting her as ‘Lady Penelope’). I’m sad to learn she is no longer with us but happy to have listened to her seductive breathy conversations with Iain and Clive.

that's brilliant. . I loved edwina. The afternoon slot was perfect for iain. . It was an easy time of day to listen and it gave normally sane listeners a chance to be completely bonkers callers. . Brilliant
