The medical use of marijuana is examined from every side of a very complex issue with this documentary that charts the suffering of four chronically ill patients whose reliance on the illegal drug as a pain killer is in jeopardy due to federal anti-narcotic legislation. Reform organizations, prohibitionist groups, politicians, drug war critics, scientists, and celebrities all get their say in this fascinating analysis.

  • There are no words to describe the hatred I have for people who would deny people with illness, a natural substance that would ease their pain.

  • recently saw a bbc docu where they had a doctor arguibg marijuana can create holes in the somker's lungs, and it got me pretty worried. anybody know of any evidence for/against this claim?

  • load bongs, not guns.

  • Those of you that do not know about Monsanto and what they have been up to, should really look into thier practices. Right now they have several plants patented and no one can plant those crops w/o Monsanto's permission.Even with thier permission seeds from the crop cannot be used, you must buy new seeds from them...now they are trying to patent pigs...cornering the worlds food supply is a rather scary vision for our future.Boycotte all of Monsanto's products!

  • The reason that Marijuana isn't and probably won't be legalized , is that the drug companies can't put thier patent on it and make a profit. Although Monsanto has been working real hard (genitically altering plant genes so that they can patent those plants...making them sole benificiaries). Until corporate america finds a way to loot us for the use, legalization won't happen...they have bigger lobbying firms and more cash to buy the votes from congress.

  • you are 15, live in the USA and enjoy listening to bands such as Alice In Chains, Pantera, Lamb of God, Nirvana, Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, Faith No More (anything with Mike Patton actually), Pearl Jam, Opeth, Type O Negative, Mother Love Bone, Guns N Roses, EyeHateGod, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Mad Season, Black Tide, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Jeff Buckley, Temple of the Dog, Corrosion of Conformity, Blue Öyster Cult

  • yea doesnt make sense to me.

less dangerous effects than alcohol, and grown/harvest/dried/consumed exactly like tobacco. yet, its illegal.

good thing they had such a good team lying to create the bad stigma in the 30's. thats the only thing they have to fall back on, which was untrue. theres no way u can logically look at it and say tobacco/alcohol is ok, but weed isnt. weed isnt coke, or heroin, the only thing close to it is tobacco, which is legal. think about it.

  • Just caught this full video, and its great.
