Sounds great. I did the same thing. ( kicking down once it got moving). LOL, u have the voice activated car phone ( the mic on the column), I had fun playing that.

In a 98 my Mom drove, it had the phone that flips on the center armrest. I worked for emergency, or some what as a pay-phone, where you needed to use your credit card in order to make a call. Though we never tried using a pre-paid phone card which is possible to work.

You sure yours doesn't work? I mean yours a new car I would have thought that might get connection. My 95 has the phone but I can understand why mine is not useable.
