The ten best female tennis players from the 1990's

I calculated the list by viewing the results of every grand slam from 1990-1999, and I gave a certian amount of points for each winner, runner-up, semi-finalist and quarter-finalist. The results are in the video.

good video. It's hard to seperate sabatini, martinez and novotna isn't it? MaryJoe I prob would have put in 10th. thats the only change I would have made. The top 3 are the warriors of the 90's. There a are very few these days that can match the passion that those 3 gave the game.

Margaret Court & Billie Jean King were dominate in 1960's to about 1973. Then Evonne Goolagong and Chris Evert. 1980's Evert still strong but Martina Navarotilova became dominate. Early 1990's Navarotilova still strong. Graf became dominate in 1990's and short time Seles who crazy man knifed (They should keep kooks locked up) and near end Vicario and Hingis, and Williams on the rise who dominate 2000's.

Margaret Court and Billie Jean King were dominate during 1960's to about 1973. Then in 1970 EVonne Goolagong and Chris Evert burst onto the seen. Goolagong didn't do mush in the 1980's although Chris was still strong and Martina Navaritalova burst on the seen and her Grand slam career went to about 1991. Martina was greatest in the 1980's. Hingis late 1990's and early 2000's just before the William Sisters came along who overlapped her career. Since Hingis Williams Sisters dominated 2000's.

Probably should have had Jennifer Capriati somewhere in there and for the 2000's Hingis and William sisters would definitely be there.

i agree with your choices...but my favorite player was Gabriella Sabatini...although she did not win as many grand slams as the rest of these ladies...she was fun to watch...

I agree Monica Seles is the best. Her achievement could have eclipsed Graf but we will never know.
