Wow, I was really dissapointed with the new Phantom OP, but this ED more than a hundred times makes up for it. Best ED I have ever seen. Love the screens too. "Nobody but the Phantom".

Common Beetrain give us the Cal ending it was my favorite of the two main endings.

As Reiji watches Elen in the field, he vows that he will keep his promise to make Elen truly smile, which she does after finding peace through being with Reiji and finding her homeland. As a carriage passes by, a shot is fired; Reiji collapses to the ground. Elen is then shown unmoving while looking up at the sky; however a petal of a poisonous flower beside her, Oxytropis, is shown missing. The fate of Elen and Reiji is left unknown, leaving the ending ambiguous.

The beginning of Daft Punk's song 'Nocturne' sounds extremely similar to this opening.

@swrutra you are wrong. either elen shot reiji, or reiji killed himself. look at it from this point of view: after elen killed scythe, she told her master to wait for her in hell and he(reiji or zwei) will join her. In mongolia, while they were on the grass, elen said that there was no need to look further, then you hear a shot. the shot was from a gun with a silencer. elen uses a magnum, while zwei uses a pistol. then u see the shell on the grass, the same grass they were standing.

@darkendivide I thought about that ending too. Actually, as every character in the show dies, I would think that, if Ein and Zwei died as well, the story would be complete. For me Zwei really died, now that you speak about the poisonous flower... so she commited suicide. Anyway, the ending shows that, no matter how much shooting experience one has, he can always be caught distracted.
