AJAMU speaks - October 2009. Now you can see the entire, highly acclaimed, witty and inforamtive contribution as a single 20 minute video. Enjoy.

Cde AJAMU addresses the CPGB-MLs meeting to celebrate the 92nd Anniversary of the Great Socialist October Revolution. He alludes to his own ideological development, from Black Nationalism to Socialism, and discusses, in particular, the experience of the African national liberation struggles.

With reference to the experience of Ghana, Nkhrumah, Sekou Toure, and others, he underlines the lesson that capitalism has failed Africa. Neo-colonialism seeks to and does enrich itself at the expense of the African Masses, finding gold where a common thief would find none.

Socialism offers the African, Asian and Latin American masses their only means of a prosperous, independent and dignified future. The 20th and 21st Centuries, he concludes, belong to Socialism.
