Byron Gordon SEO-PR, interviews Andrew Goodman, founder of Page Zero Media, previews SES Toronto 2009. (www.searchenginestrategies.com/toronto) Andrew says he expects many new faces to the search marketing field to attend this year's conference. The conference comprises 2 days, 3 tracks, including one called "Nuts and Bolts," which covers all of the SEO fundamentals and new signals that search marketers need to learn about. Andrew cites the importance of SEO and how it relates to many of the key criteria search marketers must focus on, including the measuring of quality and reputation and the appropriate use of social media tools. Andrew goes on to describe additional tracks including one called "corporateville."
Andrew Goodman, you should be proud of that name. You share the name with one of the freedom riders who was murdered for their believe in freedom and equality during the civil rights movement. Andrew Goodman was also a friend of Paul Simon before he died, a musician who went on to win 13 Grammys. He wrote a song commemorating his lost friend, called "He was my brother".
