Live action translations of popular anime aren't exactly the kind of thing you see every day, but this July, you'll get to join Gianna Jun as Blood The Last Vampire is translated to the big screen.

When a vampire named Saya joins a secret government agency tasked with hunting and killing demons and vampires in post World War II Japan, Saya will find herself placed under deep cover at a military school to root out one of the students. This student might be the most powerful demon Earth has ever seen. Check out the trailer.

So does this look like the kind of bang-up action you're looking for? Or like so many other vampire movies before it, will it just plain suck? Hit the comments section below and tell us what you think, and thanks for watching.

  • OMG this hair-twirler is retarded. First she mis-pronounced the name, then she calls it a vampire movie.... She should do some hair-commercial, not moderate movies.

  • Seriously enough with the arrow to the knee jokes, stop it -_-

  • At last the vampires here don't sparkle..

  • @mellorines yes I WANT MY HAJI TO BE IN THERE it would make it so much better in my opinion

  • This movie is horrible!!! Another shitty attempt to make a Anime into a movie.

  • where the fuck is hazi. im not even gonna bother with it if theres no fucking hazi :L

  • OMG post WW2 Japan m so excit...... wait!!! isnt it still post ww2?...... hmmmmm

  • You are just reading things off of an autocue, and your not even good at it nor interested in the content.

And to answer your question, the movie is kinda cool. Bad computer graphics and the story is a bit flat, but that's to be expected when you try to make a live action movie out of a manga series. So yeah, good movie.

I think there is something else in this video that will just plain suck though.

  • This was actually an awesome movie

  • @SampBoy1 Blood the last vampire came first before blood+, same heroines, different storyline. No Haji. Makes me sad :(

  • THEY MADE A FILM ??! HOW COULD I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS ! !!?? :O
