abec 11 freeride are better than retro.....They are really smooth and predictable.For freeriding,crousing,slide,etc.­..they are pretty cool.

retro freeride are more "radikal"....

hey im tryin to decide on the retro 80, 83, or 86s but im leanin more towards the 86s cus i wana slide like this but one thing im concerned about is how well can you carve with em? like if you carve hard on a hill are u gona accidentally slide out or do they control good AND carve? maybe the 83's would be good idk?

@jUStiNdoW retro freerides are pretty aweful.

retro freerides are too grippy b/c of the reflex urethane formula also they slide really icy once they break free. they sound like elephants. Abec 11 classic freerides grip well but slide better and are really quiet

@BurbsDesperado i have the retro 86a and they slide easy yet you can lean into your carves without it sliding out but if you plan on going faster with harder carves then get the 83's and if you want a really grippy but moderately slidey wheel get the 80a
