Mark Evans - West End Star and finalist in BBC / Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Your Country Needs You', also played "Troy" in the West Ends "High School musical" performs and dedicates an emotional tribute to Rosie May on her 16th Birthday at the annual 'Dance for Rosie May 09"
Dance For Rosie May is an annual event which raised £3,500 for The Rosie May Home for Tsunami Orphans in Sri Lanka this year. Talented young performers enter the competition on line via www.rosie-may.com age catagories range from 5yrs to 17 yrs. Judges from London's West End score and give valauable feedback, winners receive a pair of beautiful sculpted bronze miniture ballet shoes. The highest 18 scores in the 13 plus age catagory are invited to join the Rosie May Academy which is sponsored by the fund and gives talented young people the unique opportunity to be taught master classes on a monthly basis by professional performers and choreographers from Londons West End. The academy also travels to london to see their guest teachers perform in shows an amazing and inspiring experience for everyone!
