Look and watch "Lennon Naked" in Youtube, a 2010 film about Lennon from 1967 to 1971. It's perfectly clear why the Beatles split up there.

I never said Lennon was better as a solo artist. Did I? You've clearly misread and misunderstood what I had said. You can't blame one woman for the break-up of The Beatles. After all the time The Beatles spent together - on the road as best friends - I refuse to believe that the band were unable to take the pressure of a new found love interest from one of the four in their practice sessions. @aidenmccloskey im not saying that i dont like john but u shouldnt undermine the others that way. after the beatles, john had 17 top 100 hits, 13 top 40 hits, 9 top 10 hits, and 4 number 1 hits. paul on the other hand had 42 top 100 hits, 37 top 40 hits, 22 top 10 hits, and 9 number 1 hits. im not trying to undermine john but dont say his music was better.

@jddmr22181 What a load of old bullshit. Lennon wrote some of his best songs when he went solo. Working Class Hero. Imagine. Instant Karma. Yoko Ono didn't split up The Beatles. The Beatles split was inevitable. The split would have happened whether Yoko was dating Lennon or not. Lennon wrote better music than any of the four after The Beatles ended.
