  • correction: global capital is why the jobs are there. unions are the reason we aren't making 25 cents a day here.

  • Retarded.

  • unfortunately, since our non-union jobs pay us so little we can't afford to buy things that are made in the US. Also, good luck finding things made in the US since most of it isn't.

  • yes, homecare attendants are really breaking the bank. hell, we might as well tell the cripples and geezers who receive these services to go screw themselves, too.

  • Looks like your not going to get your tax increase in California !

Too many taxes and crazy union benefits screwed up this state. More unpaid furloughs coming. Go Arnold !

  • Due paying member Here . I hope they spend more of it and create more American Jobs... Thanks SEIU brothers and sisters... I enjoy my Job with your support.

  • YES!!!You got a real good point. What big corporation actually pays taxes. They get rewarded with abatements so they can take it over seas. They have child slave Labor in China. Walmart really seems to support it very well. I wonder how many people that are griping here actually buy American???If they get hungry they should eat your foriegn car while wearing Nikes or Levis. Most Americans are sellouts to our country and don't even understand the real deal. Ohh, What happened to the economy???

  • Nope, They get the money from people like me. I work hard every day, pay just a little in dues and have a voice that goes beyond the desperate rants of Youtube. And I Love them. They listen to our needs. Don't be jealous. They can organize where you work too and protect your rights as an American Worker. Thanks for reminding me about the costs. I am proud I have a small part in it. Don't give the credit to tax payers.

  • Taxes are relevant. Where corporations are making billions, E.G. Exon and Walmart, ... if a 103 Billion in profits where employees do not ALL have 40 hours a week and health care, they are not paying their FAIR share in taxes. Stop Screwing the average American and allow All to negotiate for a fair wage

  • Hey SEIU,

You are SPENDING millions on TV ads to suggest that they raise taxes in California. Take your cut like EVERYONE ELSE !

Wake up and smell the coffee. Time to CUT CUT CUT !!!
