  • what was the sfm, # of flutes and chipload?

  • The sfm was 8,500. This processing utilized a two flute solid carbide endmill. Resulting chip load was 0.015 inch per tooth.

  • High Speed Machining at its best. The company I work for has 26 Makinos... Most are A-55s. They are old over 13 years, but still run 24/7. They have certainly earned their place.

  • this is why you use a horizontal- gravity helps remove chips.

  • thats not a solid carbide em it is a seco carboloy 2fluted 2.0 routermill

  • I own a machine shop and have several Makino horizontal mills. I see what these mills can do everyday. Makino truly builds the best CNC Mills money can buy.

Thanks for making a great product. You make it easier for me to actually make some money.

  • Gnarly! I'm sure the hardest part is getting rid of the chips as fast as you can make them...

  • Who cutting Tool?
