ALMS Sebring Winter Test with Sean Edwards in a GTC Porsche

Ride onboard with Sean Edwards for a few laps round the famous Sebring race track, in preparation for the 12 Hours of Sebring 2011. He is driving the #30 Porsche 997 Cup in the GTC class, run by NGT Motorosport.

The team ended the two day test fastest on a 2.05.6, half a second clear of second place.

Looks like you're pussyfooting it on turn 17. You need to go faster buddy. Hike up the skirt and step on it!

he is pussyfooting it, but for a damn good reason, Turn 17 is incredibly rough on the car (which is one of the reasons why sebring is not a 24 hour race) Not only must the driver take into account wear and tear on the car in that area of the track, he also has to compensate for severe loss of traction. Sebring is by no means an easy raceway. seeing as this was just a test, I don't think he'd risk wrecking the car to pass a ferrari he wasn't racing.

@armoredpelican I do the same thing on FORZA 3, If i'm not racing my GT3 RSR against a F430 GT2, i'll do my best to keep up but not to pass, Only to apply some pressure to the online opponent.

I try not to wear out my tyre's or use up too much fuel.

@armoredpelican Arent the porsches in a different class, I know the porsche's and ferraris are GT2 or 3.

Sean is very quick but the teammates are no diving SOB's. Sean should pass the $ guy in the Ferrari. Didn't he run a .05 his first session out.

Where did u get this patience from all of the sudden?! I'm delighted not to see any flashing lights on the back of the green Ferrari :-) But maybe I just can't see them because the sun was too bright...
