  • Would really like to know where this is. It seems that Victoria is the state most affected by cyclones, only every now and then, nothing like Tornado valley in USA. I remember a few years ago, on second thoughts more than 5 years ago, a cyclone ripped through North Dandenong and Noble Park (suburban areas of Melbourne). My parents had to have to get a new garage door because of it.

  • @3690Anmari Its in Dunoon Australia

  • Jimmy, is this footage available on any kind of cd or dvd? Thanks

  • @naderchaser check his website, just google jimmy deguara

  • Hurricane=Atlantic basin.Cyclone=Pacific basin below the equator and Typhoon=Pacific basin north of the equator all of these are the same just different names in different region's and tornado's can be found within all three.

  • A baby compared to the f4's and 5's here in the U.S.I've been through 6 major hurricanes and have had a tornado pull my car sideways at 1:00 a.m.besides seeing 2 in the daylight;fascinating weather phenomena, dangerous, scary, tantalizing.

  • @3690Anmari i'm just saying it might have been misleading to people if your saying Victoria is even able to have cyclones.

  • @aaalexishhh well excuse me for making a simple mistake. Looking at my initial post i think it is obvious that it was a simple mistake. And you felt the need to take me to task for it. Get a life. kthanks, bye.

  • @3690Anmari

    Errr..you said cyclones

A cyclone is not a tornado?

    kthanks.

  • @aaalexishhh "Tornadoes occur more commonly in Victoria than most people would expect. The Bureau of Meteorology's severe thunderstorm database for Victoria has 160 tornado reports dating from 1918. It is most likely that many tornadoes have gone unsighted or unreported. Tornadoes range in size from a few tens of metres across, up to around one kilometre in diameter. Because of this, damage is normally restricted to a small area, but is very intense."

  • @3690Anmari

    ...umm

Yeah storms can do that mate, i suggest you educate yourself on what a cyclone actually is.

  • @aaalexishhh tell that to my parents who had to get their garage door replaced after a small one went through their area.

  • @3690Anmari There's never been a cyclone in Victoria..ever :|

It was most likely a storm.
