My husband & I (he's 65 & I'm 45) did India by train for our honeymoon & it was brilliant! We reckon if you have any aversion to poverty, stench, corruption & a weak stomach........DON'T GO THERE!!! leave it to the folk who welcome the differences & challenges, who WANT to experience such an amazing country. We love it & can't wait to go back.

travelling in a 3rd class compartment in a county with above 100 crore population and limited trains, will show this type of pictures only, its not funny at all.

folks its always chaotic to provide any service to huge population... This 2nd class compartment is for the people who cant afford higher price.. For westerners, even 1st class AC will be much more cheaper than the fare in their home land.. So stop blaming INDIA morons..

Don't blame em. You gotta sample it all, Why only travelle with the rich, love life enjoy it take in what you can, its funny to see peps comment . It would be mad to do 6 months top to bottom in 3rd class
